May I upgrade or change my reserved parking space location?
If you wish to upgrade to a Patron reserved parking level, please indicate so on the response card. This is not a guarantee that your request will be granted. If your request for an upgrade is granted, additional payment must be received before your credentials will be issued. Parking space changes are made on a first-come first-served basis.
When will I receive confirmation of my order?
Notices are mailed in mid-September with your space number, advance ticket sale locations and registered caterers.
When will I receive my tickets?
All tickets are mailed the first week in October.
May I purchase additional General Admission and Parking Tickets?
General admission and parking tickets may be purchased at one of the Advance Ticket Sale locations throughout the area, or through the Far Hills Race office at Somerset Medical Center Foundation (908) 685-2929. Advance tickets are on sale from the mid September until the day before the event (general admission $60, general parking $30). Tickets are available at the gate on race day (General admission $120, parking $30).
How can I order hay bales?
Bales may be purchased by marking the appropriate box on the reserved parking response card. Minimum order is 4 bales and each bale costs $20.00, which includes pickup and delivery. Size of each hay bale is approximately 3’ long x 1’ high.
How large is a reserved parking space?
The Family Area spaces are 20 feet wide by 20 feet deep. Other reserved spaces are 10 feet wide by approx. 20 feet deep. When you park, please consider your neighbors and center your vehicle. If you prefer you may remove your car from the space and park in the designated “overflow” lots. (See map).
How many people will comfortably fit in each space
We recommend no more than 20 people (plus a car) in the Family Area and 15 people (plus a car) in all other spaces.
Is food served on the grounds?
We advise you to bring your own picnic.
What are Race Day hours?
Gates open at 8:00 A.M. Post time for the first race is 1:00 P.M. All spectators must be off the grounds by 6:00 P.M.
May I use my own caterer?
Only registered caterers are allowed on the site. If your caterer is interested in being added to the list please call 908-234-9115. There is a registration fee involved. View the Registered Caterers List by clicking here.
May I bring my pet?
No animals are allowed on the race grounds.
May we cross from one side of the track to the other?
Spectators are not permitted on the racecourse. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the track at specified gates between races.
