    More than 35,000 spectators converge each fall on the rolling hills of Moorland Farm in Far Hills, New Jersey for the area’s biggest social cause of the fall season -The Far Hills Race Meeting. October 18, 2014 will mark the 94th running of this timeless tradition, featuring the finest steeplechase thoroughbreds in the world running against a backdrop of autumn splendor.

    The beneficiary of the Far Hills Race Meeting is Somerset Medical Center Foundation, a non-profit organization that solicits and administers funds on behalf of Somerset Medical Center. Since the mid-1950’s, over $18 million has been invested in this vital community resource through the Far Hills Races.

  • Broadway at Moorland

    Thursday, June 5, 2014
    New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) and Far Hills Race Meeting Association will, for the first time, partner to present Broadway at Moorland. This magical evening for all ages features Tony Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, Tony-nominated and Emmy Award-winner Liz Calloway, the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and other great Broadway voices. The concert will present an array of Broadway musical hits, culminating with a traditional grand fireworks display by “America’s First Family of Fireworks”, Fireworks by Grucci.

    Through its extensive Arts Education program, NJPAC is shaping the next generation of artists and arts enthusiasts. NJPAC has attracted over seven million visitors since opening its doors in 1997.

    DePasquale The Spa and Neiman Marcus Short Hills present an incredible evening of the latest fashions to wear to the Far Hills Races, beauty bars, a taste of New Jersey's best restaurants, cocktails, entertainment, shopping and much more.

    Proceeds from The Art of The Race benefit the Cancer Support Community Central New Jersey, a non-profit organization where people with cancer and their loved ones find support, education and hope in professionally-led support groups and programs.
