Far Hills Race Meeting Postpones 100th Running Until October 2021

FAR HILLS, NJ, August 2020 – The 100th Running of the Far Hills Race Meeting has been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as well as a result of the restrictions limiting the crowd size of outdoor gatherings.

The Centennial Celebration of the Far Hills Race Meeting is now scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2021.

“After months of careful consideration and many contingency plans later, the Far Hills Race Meeting Association, Inc. has arrived at the decision to postpone this year’s event. For nearly 100 years, we’ve made it our mission to safely gather the community together at Moorland Farm to celebrate the century-old tradition of Steeplechase racing here in New Jersey,” said Guy Torsilieri, Chairman of the Far Hills Race Meeting.
